House hunters can search for a property for sale or to rent on Google Maps, after the search giant partnered with estate agents to include their listings in search results.
Google Maps Property shows properties as circles on a map and users can click through to the estate agent for further details of houses they are interested in.
According to Google, potential home buyers can enter a city or location and see all the available listings by selecting “Properties” from the More menu in Maps. There are options for refining the search by price, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and the type of property.
Google said nine agents have already agreed to make their listings available and they are:
- Zoopla
- PropertyLive
- Ezylet
- SmartNewHomes
- Vebra
- Property Pal
- Spicer Haart
- Countrywide
- Zoomf
I think very soon down the line the more popular estate agents will get involved. This is a huge advantage in searching for a property, giving people the chance to easily look for properties in areas they are interested in.
